Francisco Lupiañez-Villanueva has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a Master’s degree in Information and Knowledge Society Programmes from IN3. Currently working on Economics of eHealth at Information Society Unit, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS), European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC). Associate Professor at Open University of Catalonia, School of Information and Communication Science, and researcher at Internet Interdisciplinary Institute. His current research focuses on social, economic, cultural and policy issues associated with ICT. Broadly, his research spans health, government, welfare, ICT, digital economy and new media topics.
